Writing not only fulfills me, it sustains me. I post a lot of poetry, and the poems definitely don't sum up me: just the empty, depressed me that needs to vent through the power and entanglement of words.
The world is cold and barren, and I feel lost in the vastness of infinity, but it's the little things that make it all worth continuing.

This is my first tattoo! It’s a kingfisher, taken just after it was finished. I chose a kingfisher because they have dual symbolism as a bringer of tranquility and of death, which I found really interesting. I love the finished product, the artist was a really cool guy and I love how he was able to make it surreal. Done by Cheese at Dandyland Tattoos, San Antonio, TX.
